Album Artwork



These are our initial Ideas for the album artwork, Becky and I researched into current albums in this genre and decided what ones we should take inspiration from for our album artwork in order to entice our chosen target market. We chose these album s to work from as they connect more with our ideas in terms of colour tone and setting. We have a clear idea of what we want our ancillary task to look like as we have done different research on different options and then pick the best features that we could use on our own digi-pak.

    I like this research but you must supplement it in order to get higher marks. You need to contextualise the choices you have made here by associating them with other CD covers that do not directly influence your work but are of the same genre. Also this is not yet fully focused since I am unclear whether you will be using the naked flame on the face idea or the other. The last three choices are all utterly different to each other in colouration and subject of the photograph. Focus your attention precisely. Lastly, you must research the small details on a CD cover: the location and types of fonts for specific bits of text for instance.
